Nataliya is a lawyer with over 19 years of experience. She has spent her entire career working in legal consultancy, including international law firms.
Nataliya specializes in the intersection of law and innovation. She began her career as a specialist in IP protection and enforcement. Thereafter, Nataliya gradually developed her expertise in information technology law and media regulation.
Nataliya also specializes in resolving disputes in intellectual property, takes part in disputes with government agencies and entities related to intellectual property.
Nataliya has excellent academic skills in the intellectual property and information technology law. She defended her dissertation in copyright and related rights and is a candidate of legal sciences. She is also a graduate of the master’s program Innovation, Technology and Law at the University of Edinburgh.
Nataliya is the active writer and publisher of scientific and practical articles, participates in conferences and activities of business associations. Nataliya contributes to improving justice in the Republic of Kazakhstan in disputes related to intellectual property, she lectures on intellectual property to judges of the Republic of Kazakhstan on a pro bòno basis.
